The picturesquely located Wild- & Erlebnispark Ferleiten (AUT) offers information and entertainment at the "highest" level at over 1000 meters above sea level.
The Grossglockner High Alpine Road in Austria is one of the most beautiful pass roads in Europe and is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Directly at the Ferleiten toll station, the Mayr-Reisch family runs a highly successful Wild & Adventure Park at over 1000 meters above sea level with visitors from all over the world.
Many of the attractions offered there in the adventure park are devices of the company Sunkid. The latest investments are the 2 - seat Sundancer and a tubing track.
"The new Sundancer is an absolute highlight in the adventure park" explains operator Andreas Mayr-Reisch. "...because the special thing about the Sundancer is the possibility that the user can interactively intervene in the ride. Both direction of rotation, and the speed of the cabin are controlled by the passengers themselves and so they have it in their own hands, how far the cabin swings out explains Mayr-Reisch the great success of the Sundancer. If you can't get on the Sundancer right away because of the crowds, try your luck on Butterfly, Luna Loop or Nautic Jet. These are all attractions from Sunkid that can be equipped with practical coin-operated controls, as is the case here in the adventure park.
Another visitor magnet is the Sunkid tubing track. It is a real hit with visitors because this form of transportation is a completely new experience for many guests from faraway countries.
The Ferleiten Adventure Park:
As a wildlife & adventure park in the middle of the nature reserve, it sets itself the goal of bringing visitors closer to nature and species conservation as well as environmental education and research. As an educational institution, biological and ecological connections are conveyed. However, it is also a place of recreation with adjacent adventure park, where annual renovations increase the attractiveness and increase the fun factor for families.
