La première salle de ski indoor d'Allemagne propose désormais sa propre piste pour enfants et débutants avec des pistes de luge et de tubing ainsi que deux tapis magiques de Sunkid.

The lively influx of guests prompted the operators of Germany's 1st indoor winter sports region to enlarge the slope area and to unbundle the offer more specifically. After the expansion of the hall, children and beginners now have their own slope with 4000m2 as well as toboggan and tubing runs at their disposal. This hall is opened by two Sunkid Moving Carpet.

In the Neuss ski hall - also affectionately known as the "Neuss Glacier" - two T-bar lifts, a four-seater chairlift and two Sunkid Moving Carpet lifts have so far ensured a comfortable ascent parallel to the 300-meter-long and 60-meter-wide powder snow slope. The consistently good visitor numbers prompted the operators to expand the range of slopes with another hall. This now results in a maximum capacity in both halls of 700 skiers and tobogganers!

With this investment, it has not only been possible to increase the area of the slopes, but also to adapt the offer to the needs of the guests even better. In the previous hall, the advanced and professional skiers can now ski downhill "undisturbed". And in the new hall, a package of offers has been put together to provide more targeted support for children and beginners. As a further highlight, there are also special toboggan and tubing runs.

Passengers in this new hall are transported exclusively by two Sunkid conveyor belts with a total length of 114 meters. The decision to rely on the Sunkid Moving Carpet for the recent purchase of a conveyor belt was very easy for the operators. "We are open 365 days a year and cannot afford any downtime. To do that, we need partners who are on call 24 hours a day. Sunkid does that!" says Dzemal Dzaferovic, slope manager and head of technology at the Neuss ski hall. This trust is underlined by the 80,000(!) problem-free operating hours of the two Sunkid Moving Carpet systems to date.
