Chamonix is one of the pioneers among the Alpine destinations in France when it comes to revitalizing the mountain summer. By investing wisely in high-quality attractions, Chamonix manages to bring the number of guests in summer up to the level of winter.
This year, a Sunkid Butterfly was installed in the Domaine des Planards amusement park to further improve the offer. This family ride accelerates to around 40 km/h within a few seconds and pushes passengers into their seats at speeds of up to 2G. An experience like this gives you a real tingle in your stomach, and it's no surprise that this family ride is classified as a roller coaster.
